Soabar 100 years!

The company name was derived in 1920 from a new machine which would “Sew-A-Bar” of five stitches. This became the inspiration of Soabar which in turn became the name behind a new concept in marking.

Soabar setup in the UK in 1974 initially at our old factory in Ibstock and in January 1978 some 43 years ago, moved into our current building in Whetstone, Leicester.

We have developed an enviable reputation for customer service which begins long before your machine is installed. Personnel trained in many aspects of labelling approach your particular problem with expertise, and advise on the most efficient and economical system to adopt.

With our in-house design team producing quality artwork for your labels, our technical support department offering our customers support for their thermal printers and label software through to our production department producing high quality digital and flexographic labels, we are always here to help.
