The Soabar DTQ is an industrial textile label printer for businesses that need to print wash care labels on demand. It is suitable for polyester and nylon care labels, supports double-sided printing, and is available in 300dpi and 600dpi models with UK installation, training, warranty and lifetime technical support.
The DTQ comes in two different models- one boasting a 4″ width printing at 300dpi and reaching speeds of 150mm per second.
The other option is our DTQ 2″ width for narrower label printing, where the print resolution is a high 600dpi and speeds of 100mm/s are reached.
Both DTQ printers offer an impressive 10″ material roll diameter and up to 450m ink ribbon capacity, therefore reducing downtime caused by changing the materials.
Labels on both printers are guided through in a centred position, which results in precise print images.
Ribbon saving is automated which significantly reduces running costs, as does the function to heat specific print heads in isolation.
The DTQ series printer also offers a range of attachments including a cutter, cutter stacker or rewind unit. The cutter stacker allows the cutting of your care labels into a single label making it easier for your operators to sew the label into the garment.

The Soabar DTQ textile label printer is built for apparel, textile and garment businesses that need clear, durable wash care labels without waiting for external label batches. It allows teams to print care symbols, composition details, style codes, sizes and variable information on demand, helping reduce waste and avoid delays when product details change.
The DTQ printer uses two printheads, with one printhead positioned on each side of the label. This makes it possible to print different colours and information on both sides of the label, helping brands produce shorter care labels while still including the information customers and compliance teams need.
The DTQ range includes a 4-inch model printing at 300dpi with speeds up to 150mm per second, and a 2-inch model for narrower label printing at 600dpi with speeds up to 100mm per second. Both models support a 10-inch material roll diameter and up to 450m ink ribbon capacity, reducing the number of material changes required during production.
The DTQ can print on polyester and nylon, and heat transfer materials are also available for easier application. Optional attachments such as a cutter, cutter stacker and rewind unit help streamline label finishing. The cutter stacker can cut care labels into single labels, making them easier for operators to sew into garments.
