Digital Label Printing from our Konica Minolta C71cF Digital Label Press

In November 2016, Soabar entered into a strategic business partnership with Konica Minolta by purchasing the C71cF Digital Press for our digital label printing department. This cutting-edge equipment makes us the first company in England and the second in the UK to utilize the C71cF, which officially began operation in January 2017.

The acquisition of this digital press is a significant milestone for Soabar, as it allows us to offer a more efficient and convenient label printing service to our customers. By shifting to a ‘computer to print’ system, we can reduce production time and offer quicker turnaround on orders. Unlike traditional printing methods that rely on printing plates, the C71cF Digital Press uses a more flexible and streamlined approach. It operates in a manner similar to your home printer or photocopier, where labels are printed directly from your digital artwork files. This system reduces the chances of registration issues, ensuring that your labels are printed with high precision.

With the C71cF, smaller orders and shorter run lengths are no longer a problem, which means faster delivery times for our customers. This capability makes it perfect for businesses with more frequent, smaller label runs that require fast and efficient delivery. Additionally, the press ensures crisp, high-quality images, and gives us the ability to personalize and version labels with ease, offering a high level of customization.

We are thrilled to be working with Konica Minolta, a global leader in managed print services, production printing solutions, and laser printers, among other technologies. The introduction of the C71cF Digital Press has led to the creation of a new Digital Department at our Leicester office, which aims to improve the efficiency and quality of our label printing services. With this addition, we hope to enhance the experience for our customers by providing faster service and more accurate results.
