New Position – Office Assistant

We are a leading label manufacturer with flexographic and digital printing services. To compliment this we market and supply a diverse range of thermal label printers. Due to continued growth we’re looking for a office assistant based from our office in Whetstone, Leicester. The individual should have strong communication skills.                                           

Objective:

To assist in the smooth, productive & efficient running of the daily administrative operations of the company & support internal & external customers.

General duties:

  • Supporting the office team
  • Supporting the Sales team
  • Processing emails & answering queries
  • Taking & distributing telephone calls
  • Maintaining files
  • Processing orders through MIS
  • Create & update records ensuring accuracy
  • General clerical tasks
  • Resource planning
  • Perform receptionist duties when required
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure compliance              

This is not an exhaustive list of duties expected from our Office  Assistant’s s role but an outline as to what the overall responsibilities would be.

Skills:

  • Computer literate
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to learn
  • Good Maths & English
  • Able to meet deadlines & manage time
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication and organisation skills
  • Reliable, punctual & be able to work on own initiative
