New Position – Office Assistant

We are a leading label manufacturer with flexographic and digital printing services. To compliment this we market and supply a diverse range of thermal label printers. Due to continued growth we’re looking for a office assistant based from our office in Whetstone, Leicester. The individual should have strong communication skills.
Objective:
To assist in the smooth, productive & efficient running of the daily administrative operations of the company & support internal & external customers.
General duties:
- Supporting the office team
- Supporting the Sales team
- Processing emails & answering queries
- Taking & distributing telephone calls
- Maintaining files
- Processing orders through MIS
- Create & update records ensuring accuracy
- General clerical tasks
- Resource planning
- Perform receptionist duties when required
- Liaising with other departments to ensure compliance
This is not an exhaustive list of duties expected from our Office Assistant’s s role but an outline as to what the overall responsibilities would be.
Skills:
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to learn
- Good Maths & English
- Able to meet deadlines & manage time
- Attention to detail
- Good communication and organisation skills
- Reliable, punctual & be able to work on own initiative
